This is a very rare Vintage Gold Plated Gub Glashütte from the 1950's.  It is 70 years old and still works perfectly due to it's GUB Cal. 60 movement.  It came out of the same factory associated with A. Lange & Söhne.  You will find list on Chrono24 some similar watches for 3 times the price.  So this is great value.

The watch has a wonderful gold dial that has a patina you'd expect after 70 years.  The gold plated case has obvious signs of wear, as does the crystal.  We've not replaced the orignal crystal as we didnt want to spoil the balance of the watch and make it look out of sorts with a new one.  

There are not many GUB's with a small sub dial for the seconds hand on the market.  This and its age with great patina makes this a special watch.   We have added a modern red and gold textile strap that allows the watch to retain its Vintage status but with a bit of colour and contrast.   It is also supplied with a Brown NATO strap that change

 This is one of those Vintage watches that should be in every collection - ie one that looks old and still looks and works great.  Comes with 2 straps.
