This is a good looking Diver watch from the 1970's.  The dial was originally black but now has a lovely patina making it a greyish black.   The red batons stand out nicely without being to obvious.  The small second hand is a great design and sweeps around majestically.  

The Circula brand originates from Germany.  The brand was founded by Heinz Huber  in 1955 in Pforzheim, the center of the German watch and jewelry industry in the Black Forest. He named Circula after the circulating of the balance in mechanical movements.

Not many Vintage pieces come onto the market, they are very rare.  In 2018 the Grandson of the founder revived the Circula Brand.   They now produce mechanical watches once more by hand in Germany.   This will make Vintage pieces like this one become more collectable and valuable as the brand will once again become more popular.
