The Sicura Submariner 400m was launched in 1974. It is a great diving watch adn this is a great example from that year. It has a look of the 50 fathoms and a nod to the Submariner too.
The dial is black with luminous hands and batons. The "TRI" on the dial at 6 O'Clock indicates Tritium was used as lume on the watch. After 46 years the hands and batons still have the lume and work.
The bezel is inperfect condition for a watch this age. It rotates smoothly both directions. The watch also runs well and keeps time well. This was certainly worn more for leisure than for diving or any sporting activity.
Its presented on a tan leather NATO strap that makes the watch stand out nicely.
